Program, August 29th
- 6.30 pm – Solemn procession with the Holy Ark and the simulacrum of Saint John the Baptist followed by the faithful with votive candles.
- 10.00 pm – Greeting to the faithful by H.E. Mons. Paolo Urso, followed by the fireworks display on the San Vito Bridge. Triumphal entry of the statue of the Saint into the Cathedral
- Midnight – at the end of the celebrations, spectacular fireworks on the San Vito Bridge.
